Storytellers and Friends

CORWYN ALLEN
American Poet Corwyn Allen is a welcome addition to the "Friends of the Library," sharing a love of the literate and the theatrical. And he does a mean Sean Connery impression!
AOIFE LOREFIELD
Aoife Lorefield loves reading aloud. She enjoys all kinds of literature, focusing her reading on Ireland, poetry, the lyrical, the mythic, and the fantastic. A writer and educator, she celebrates SL's creative opportunities.

BEAR SILVERSHADE
Bear rapidly ascended from official cheese clock monitor and resident photographer - reflecting his real life occupation as a photo journalist - to a core member of the Seanchai Storytelling Staff.  Bear has a great love for humor, wit, and classic Science Fiction.

CRAP MARINER
Always unpredictable and irreverent, no subject is too sacred, no cow too holy for Crap not to pull it out, examine it, and bang it on the table a few times before putting it back where he found it - albeit slightly crumpled. Long ago, he swore an oath to write a 100 word story every day until the day he died. He's not dead yet. And no, he NEVER has opinions! http://oneadayuntilthedayidie.com/
DUBHNA RHIADRA
Dubhna has a deep love of ancient folklore from many traditions.  She combines this, her love of the act of story telling, with a soulful vocal style that is relaxing and inspiring.  She has also shared some of her original works with eager library audiences.

FAERIE MAVEN-PRALOU

We first got to know Fairy through dear Gina, and who knew that Fairy would turn out to be a delightful teller of stories as well?  Faerie flutters with delight when the stories are about fairy mischief, adventure, and magical discoveries.

GYRO MUGGINS
Another delightful "Gentleman of the South" with a keen love of Science Fiction and Fantasy Literature, as well as stories of his homelands.

GINA PRALOU-MAVEN
With a diverse taste in literature, Gina brings poignant and unique stories to life with understanding and compassion.

KAYDEN OCONNELL
Kayden brings a fine appreciation of a good yarn, a fine theatrical tradition, and a personal love of stories from his native Minnesota to share.

JOHN MORLAND
John has come to storytelling by that most time-honored path: reading to his daughter Gemma!  John has a passion for classic literature of a wide variety, and we are pleased to have him join us for everything from Dickens to Kipling.

TROLLEY TROLLOP
Some folks call Trolley “Trailer Trash” ‘cause she grew up poor in south Alabama. After Mama died Trolley packed up her things—including Mama’s pearls that Mama told her to never take off so she’d always know that even though she might be poor, she’s a lady—and set out to see the world. Trolley bring more wit and erudition along with her love of literature than you might suppose.  Don't judge THIS book by its cover!
